Integration
One question decides every point solution: where does this sit in my stack?
CubeRight runs alongside your WMS, TMS and OMS. It does not replace them and it does not need to own execution to be useful. REST with a drift-checked catalog, CSV, or the browser application. Adopt one touchpoint at a time.
The order lands and the cube exists. Cartons, pallets, weight and density returned against the order lines, with no dependency on a pick or a pack event.
Returnscartons · pallets · weight · density class
Pick-to-carton, waves built to complete a pallet rather than hit a wave-size parameter, and a pack bench that is told the carton instead of being asked to choose it.
Returnscarton per line · pick sequence · pallet pattern
Pallet positions and shipped cube days ahead of tender, with order and load consolidation scored against a measured baseline rather than an assumed one.
Returnspallet positions · shipped cube · consolidation candidates
Density and NMFC class computed from the same run, with the basis stored. "We declared class 85 because measured density was 12.4 lb/ft³ on this date, from these dimensions" is an audit record, not a service call.
Returnsdensity · NMFC class · the basis it was derived from
Pallet and carton counts before the booking is made; cartons-per-pallet and SSCC hierarchy correct before the ASN transmits — the most penalized document in retail, populated from a number you actually have.
Returnspallet count · cartons per pallet · SSCC hierarchy
Forward carton size-mix demand on the lead times corrugate actually runs on, plus catalog rationalization — a permanent improvement independent of any single order.
Returnssize-mix forecast · catalog rationalization candidates
Three ways in. You can stop after the first.
Most platform programs in this category start at step three and take a year to reach step one. That inversion is the point.
- 01 Measure Send an order file. We re-run your book against your own current policy and hand back the delta in physical units — cartons, cube, pallets, density class. Days, not a quarter. No integration, no commitment, nothing to procure. No integration
- 02 Connect One REST call, a CSV drop, or the browser application — alongside the WMS you already run. Cube resolved on every order from the moment it lands. Nothing is replaced and nothing is ripped out. One touchpoint
- 03 Declare Turn the number into the commitments that lock first: density and freight class at tender, pallet and carton counts before the appointment is booked, size-mix demand to procurement on corrugate lead times. This step is a project. Rate cards, routing guides and receiver height caps are real configuration, and we would rather you heard that from us than from your integrator. Full surface
One consequence worth planning for, because it surprises people: right-sizing does not nudge your carton mix — it inverts it. Measured on a real run, demand for the largest carton went to zero while two mid sizes went from zero to 528 and 300, and total carton consumption rose 64%. CubeRight models carton supply alongside selection for exactly this reason — an optimization that silently causes a stockout destroys both the saving and the ability to measure it.
