Cubing at the pack bench is the immature case, and we do not claim it is typical. Most operations resolve cube at wave. The mature ones get it at tender, because the tender itself asks for cartons and pallets. Both are real capability — and both still buy the corrugate, commit the carriers, call the labor, book the appointment and declare the freight class before anyone knows the number.
